Modified Hornbostel-Sachs System

The modified Hornbostel-Sachs System is the system of musical instrument classification primarily used by the Organology Wiki. It is based primarily upon the Revision of the Hornbostel-Sachs Classification of Musical Instruments by the MIMO Consortium and Steve Mann's paper "Natural Interfaces for Musical Expression: Physiphones and physics-based organology".
